  Married: Many sources have stated that Major Robert HARRIS' wife, Mary, was the daughter of Col. William CLAIBORNE and Elizabeth BUTLER. The eminent genealogist, John Frederick DORMAN, in his book Claiborne of Virginia, 1995, states that this relationship cannot be proven.
