  	Walter Russell, Mary's brother-in-law, purchased a new Ford Model T Touring car
  	After a couple of short trips to Paola and Lawrence, he drove to St. Louis, over 600 miles round trip, on roads that were probably dirt most of the way. The car had a top speed of about 40 to 45 miles per hour. "Motored to St. Louis and Return  -  Mr. W. S. Russell motored to Independence, Mo., July 4th and then on to St. Louis, the next day. Mrs. Russell and daughter, Marie, Mrs. Russell's sisters, Miss Mary Eberhardt and Mrs. Boyer and son, Willie, made the return trip with Mr. Russells in the car from St. Louis to Osawatomie, stopping over one night at Marshall, Mo. Miss Mary Eberhardt and Mrs. Boyer and son are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Russell on East Brown Avenue. A few years ago she moved to Plattsburg and has been managing a variety store. She is a lady of charm and refinement and will make an ideal mate for the man of her choice. "The bridegroom has long been a resident of Cameron. He was employed for several years as bookkeeper for companies in St. Louis and Kansas City. "THose from Cameron attending the wedding were: Mrs. M. B. O'Loughlin, son, Gerald, Miss Ruth Brown, Mrs. John  F. Barry, Miss Alice Murphy and Mr. and Mrs. J. P.
