    bequeathing land to each of his three step-daughters, Katherine, Ann and Mary DEBNAM, daughters' of his second wife, Katherine (JENNINGS) DEBNAM GRYMES,

      Katherine's land was passed down to her grandson, Robert TALIAFERRO III, who sold it to Augustine SMITH on 9 August 1711 in Essex County.
      His widow Katherine, as his Executrix, probated the will in 1662 in Gloucester County.

      Katherine DEBNAM:  On 9 August 1711 in Essex County (Deed & Wills Book #12, p 426), Robert TALIAFERRO III, grandson of Robrt TALIAFERRO I and Katherine DEBNAM, sold to Augustine SMITH, 200 acres of land that was originally patented to Charles GRYMES on on 4 September 1654 in Lancaster County, and renewed on 8 October 1657 and 23 November 1661. This land was located south of the Rappahannock River, and subsequently in the following counties as they were created: Old Rappahannock in 1656 and Essex in 1692.

      Ann DEBNAM:  On 20 June 1726 in King George County (Deed Book #1, p 361), Samuel HOYLE, son of Edward HOYLE and Ann DEBNAM, sold to Samuel SKINKER, 300 acres of land that was half of the land originally patented to Charles GRYMES on 4 September 1654 in Lancaster County, and renewed on 8 October 1657 and 23 November 1661. This land was located north of the Rappahannock River, and subsequently in the following counties as they were created: Old Rappahannock in 1656, Richmond in 1692 and King George in 1721.

      Mary DEBNAM:  On 6 August 1692 in Essex County (Book #1, p 40), John SMITH of Ware Parish in Gloucester County, son of Maj. Lawrence SMITH Sr. and Mary DEBNAM, sold to John TALIAFERRO of St. Marys Parish in Essex County, son of Robert TALIAFERRO I and Katherine DEBNAM, and brother-in-law of John SMITH, 200 acres of land that was originally patented to Charles GRYMES on on 4 September 1654 in Lancaster County, and renewed on 8 October 1657 and 23 November 1661. This land was located south of the Rappahannock River, and subsequently in the following counties as they were created: Old Rappahannock in 1656 and Essex in 1692.
