Notes:
1847 - Linn County was formed from a portion of Cahmpoeg County.

1851 - Lane County and Umpqua County were both formed from portions of Linn County and Benton County.

1854 - Wasco County formed from portions of Linn County, Clackamas County, Marion County, Lane County, Douglas County and Jackson County.

1885 - Lane County received land from Linn County and Douglas County.

1908 - Linn County and Lane County exchanged some land, creating Linn County's present day boundries.
